Air Arabia expands RAK operations with new flights to Tashkent, Moscow

These developments mark a key step in the carrier’s expansion strategy and its role in bolstering the tourism sector in Ras Al Khaimah

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s largest low-cost carrier (LCC), has announced two significant additions to its network, launching direct flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and Moscow, Russia.

The inaugural Ras Al Khaimah-Tashkent service commenced with weekly Friday flights connecting Ras Al Khaimah International Airport to Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport.

This marks a key step in the carrier’s expansion strategy and its role in bolstering the tourism sector in Ras Al Khaimah.

Adel Al Ali, group CEO of Air Arabia, highlighted the significance of the Tashkent route, stating, “We are glad to start our direct flights between Ras Al Khaimah and Tashkent, further expanding Air Arabia’s network and reach.

“This new route underscores our commitment to providing travellers with greater connectivity and value-for-money travel options while supporting the continued growth of Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism sector.”

Air Arabia launches new service from RAK to Moscow

Separately, the airline launched its first direct flight from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport to Moscow Domodedovo International Airport on December 28.

The new service will operate three times a week, expanding Air Arabia’s growing presence in key international markets.

A special ceremony at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport marked the inaugural Moscow flight, attended by representatives from the airline and the Ras Al Khaimah International Airport Authority.
